Took off the hood and front fenders, removed the gas tank and
sent it out to be refurbished at GasTank Renu.
Made new gas lines from the tank to the engine.
Made up new brake lines, which I got from Napa.
Rebuilt hydraulic wheel cylinders for the 4 brakes.
Removed the engine w/transmission intact and sent the transmission
out to be rebuilt, then sent out the engine to be rebuilt.
Took the steering box out of the car and rebuilt it. Some parts
from the 48 Ford steering box are interchangeable.
Sent Pearlite steering wheel to KFOCI Manufacturing Fund to be
re-molded.
Cleaned underside of chassis and repainted it all.
Took apart front suspension replaced bushings, pins & springs.
Wirebrushed and painted the inner fenders and radiator shroud.
Now Im working on the wheel rims wirebrushing and painting
them, using Por 15 rust preventative paint.
The transmission is back and Im waiting for the engine but it
will probably be months yet.

After I get everything back together Ill start working on rewiring
the electrical system and next, the interior, which is just replacing
the carpeting since the rest of the interior is in good shape.
The final step will be painting the body.
